HSE Regulations
The Health and Safety Executive have brought out a new directive (August 2002) regarding air cylinder markings and labelling which means cylinder fillers are not allowed to fill cylinders unless:
  • They have a vailid test date
  • They display a cylinder wrap denoting contents E.G. Breathing air or Nitrox
  • They are marked with the correct colour quarters on the shoulder of the cylinder
  • They have an oxygen clean and service label (If Relevant)
Failure to adhere to these HSE regulations will mean we are unable to fill cylinders. In order to bring your cylinder up to HSE requiremtns we are able to offer the necessary stickers for your cylinder at £1.95 each. To have your cylinder marked with the correct colour quarters can be done when your cylinder next goes in for test for an extra £5.00.
