To enrol in a PADI Open Water Diver course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
What will you learn?
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases -
Knowledge development to understand the basic principles of scuba diving.
Confined water dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water dives to review your skills and explore the underwater world!
There are two options to complete this course:
Option One: Full Open Water Course
You complete the knowledge development and confined water dives and come complete your open water dives with Aquanorth at one of our local dive sites.
Option Two: Open Water Referal Course
You complete the knowledge development and confined water dives with Aquanorth and then you arrange to complete you open water dives abroad.
What Scuba Gear will you use?
Aquanorth diving centre will provide all the equipment required for your PADI Open Water Diver course, including mask, fins, snorkel, regulators, buoyancy compensation device, gauges and tank.
Participants will need to bring a swimming costume, T-shirt , shorts and a towel for the pool.
