The PADI Scuba Diver course offers an introduction to scuba diving for individuals with limited time. This course is designed to teach the basic skills and knowledge necessary for safe recreational diving under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional, up to a maximum depth of 12 metres.

Course Structure

The course comprises eLearning, confined water dives, and open water dives, providing a structured approach to acquiring the  skills required for scuba diving.

eLearning

This covers the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive theory, safety procedures and equipment management. This part of the course aims to establish a thorough understanding of the essential concepts and practices in scuba diving.

Confined Water Dives

This section of the course takes place in one of our local swimming pools. Here, under the supervision of a PADI instructor,  you will practice and refine your scuba skills. This phase focuses on developing confidence and proficiency in basic diving techniques.

Open Water Dives

The course culminates in 2 open water dives, where participants apply their skills in an open water setting, supervised by a PADI Professional. These dives are conducted at carefully selected sites to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Certification

Upon completing the course, participants will receive the PADI Scuba Diver certification, which is internationally recognised. This certification serves as a foundation for further diving education, including the PADI Open Water Diver course, for those wishing to expand their diving capabilities.
