Terms & Conditions
  • General Booking

    • All customers must sign the relevant Liability Release and Assumption of Risk Form before commencing inwater activities.

    • Upon signing up for any course, each student is required to complete a medical questionnaire (see attached). If the customer arrives on the day of activity and is unable to participate due to having answered “Yes” to any question on the medical form and has no approval from a Doctor, any fees paid will be forfeit and the customer will be liable for any additional costs incurred.

    • Courses expire after 1 year. If a customer has not completed a course 1 year after payment is received, the course will become invalid and the customer will need to rebook and repay.

    • Aquanorth Diving Centre reserves the right to withhold certifications from customers if they have not paid their course fee in full.

  • Safe Diving Practice

    • Safety is the number one priority at Aquanorth. If our instructors believe that a student is not sufficiently competent to dive safely at the level they are trying to achieve after they have finished the course and after we have exhausted all reasonable efforts to make them a safe and competent diver, the student will not be certified or may receive a lesser certification than the one expected, with less responsibility attached. Paying for the course does not guarantee certification.

  • Equipment

    • Kit transport is not included in the cost of a diving activity and customers will need to pick up kit prior to an activity. Kit transport can be arranged (subject to availability) for an additional cost.

    • Aquanorth Diving Centre’s rental kit is of good quality, well maintained and serviced regularly. However, we cannot guarantee the rental masks and drysuits will not leak, although we will do our best to provide equipment which fits.

  • Customer Obligations

    • Aquanorth Diving Centre is not responsible for paying any dive site entry fees or boat fees. These must be paid for by the customer.

    • Customers are required to arrive on time to activities having completed all necessary assigned work. If either of these conditions are not met and it is necessary to continue the course at a later time, additional fees will be incurred.

    •  Cost to replace/repair lost or damaged to equipment caused by a customer must be paid at current market value

    •  Where customers are unfit to dive, demonstrate a lack of respect for marine life, consume alcohol between dives, or fails to abide by general international safe diving standards and practices, Aquanorth Diving Centre may prohibit an individual’s participation in an activity/activities.

    •  When taking part in a PADI course or program each customer is responsible for obtaining authorisation from a doctor in the event that they answer “Yes” to any questions on the Medical Statement that is provided in advance by the Aquanorth Diving Centre (add link)

    •  It is the customer’s responsibility to report a change in medical circumstances which would result in a “Yes” on a medical form.
