Course Aims and Structure

This course aims to equip divers with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and maintain their diving equipment effectively. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, participants will become proficient in the essentials of equipment care and troubleshooting.

 

Knowledge Development

The course begins with a comprehensive knowledge development session that covers the theory behind dive equipment operation and maintenance. Topics include an overview of dive gear components, understanding how equipment works, and the importance of regular maintenance.

 

Participants will learn about:

  • The mechanics of regulators, BCDs, wetsuits, and other essential dive gear.
  • Routine maintenance procedures and how to conduct pre-dive equipment checks.

Practical Application
